Suyes Law is one of the only firms in the greater Richmond area that focuses exclusively on Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) claims and appeals. Founded by Attorney Joanna Suyes, we have helped countless individuals secure the benefits they need and deserve through these government programs.
Attorney Joanna Suyes
Joanna grew up in Chesterfield County, Virginia, and received a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from the Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond in 1997. She earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, cum laude, from the University of Richmond School of Law in 2007.
Before becoming an attorney, Joanna worked for 17 years as a paralegal handling personal injury claims. Following this, she worked as a lawyer for Marks & Harrison for 16 years before starting her own Social Security Disability-focused law practice.
